The New Chamber Singers

The New Chamber Singers is a choir of about 30 mainly English-speaking voices based in Rome, Italy. It was founded in January 1993 and has developed a vast repertory that stretches from the Renaissance to living composers. One of its objectives is to propose compositions and composers little known to an Italian audience, without ignoring the more well-known chamber choir pieces.

The choir master is Stefano Vasselli, and the organiser and driving force behind the choir is Andrew Cochlin.

Il coro The New Chamber Singers, un ensemble di circa 30 elementi prevalentemente di lingua inglese fondato a Roma del gennaio 1993, ha un vasto repertorio che spazia dagli autori del Rinascimento fino ai moderni. Uno dei suoi obiettivi è di proporre composizioni e compositori poco conosciuti in Italia, senza per questo ignorare le grandi opere per coro da camera già note al pubblico.

Il maestro del coro è Stefano Vasselli, e Andrew Cochlin è l'organizzatore e il motore del coro.
